A lesson designed to cover the PSHE Association’s guidance concerning becoming a confident user of the NHS and accessing appropriate sources of help. It also covers how to avoid inappropriate sources of help (TikTok / Instagram health influencers / faith healers / miracle pill-pushers and so-called health gurus). Students will explore case studies where people have taken bad advice from illegitimate sources and had poor outcomes as well as investigate why self-diagnosis is such a problem online. This is all new content (2024) and all editable. This detailed 23 page PSHE / Citizenship workbook has been created for the new PSHE 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on prejudice and discrimination - in this case racism and the Black Lives Matter movement. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete. If you already have one of the EC Publishing, you’ll see this in your Dropbox as a new update. The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. A complete written PSHE scheme of work for Year 13. It is mapped to the new PSHE Association Guidelines for PSHE Health and RSE in 2020. This is written using the PSHE Association’s latest guidelines for content (Feb 2020) and mapped to all of their current topic codes. Includes PDF and editable word version. Along with the other schemes of work at my store these can be used to evidence how your school is meeting all the new guidelines. Both PDF and editable word file are included. The lesson this scheme links to have been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities.
